The Justice and Peace Advocacy team’s mental health subcommittee is presenting a program on how an over-reliance on our devices can have unhealthy consequences. We’ve all heard about the toll that excessive online use can take on us in the form of depression, anxiety, loneliness, and reduced attention spans. An overwhelming preoccupation with social media, gaming sites, and compulsive information seeking can all be signs that we’ve gone down the digital rabbit hole. Join us for a discussion of these issues and how to address them. Our speaker will be Kelsey Wetmore, LPC, LCADC, from the Center for NeuroWellness in Manasquan. Rather than being a victim of the attention economy, come and learn how we can limit our online use and restore a healthy balance to our lives. All are welcome. Please register below.
