We, the members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manasquan, New Jersey, are a family of faith. We become members of the family in Holy Baptism and are continually nourished as a family with the Word of God and the Lord's Supper. We are part of the greater family of the Triune God, from siblings in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to our extended family of the Body of Christ. All of humanity is our neighbor.
As members of the family of faith we are ambassadors for Christ, called to minister to the world as "little Christs." As members of His Body, The Church, we are called to witness and serve until He comes again in glory. Therefore, we seek peace and justice, bring comfort to the bereaved and sick, pray for all, and through our financial resources and loving labors serve those in need. We do all of this not out of our own goodness but in thanksgiving to God the gift of our Savior, Jesus. Freed from sin we are freed for service. We joyfully realize that many blessings come to us in order to pass through us to others. We are indeed blessed to be a blessing!
