The Justice and Peace Advocacy Committee is hosting a coffee hour on behalf of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN.  Just as other Lutheran faith communities stood with Holy Trinity in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, so we are called to stand with a sister congregation who has modeled, in exemplary fashion, what it looks like to love their neighbors.  Due to the large surge of ICE agents in Minneapolis, many of their immigrant neighbors have been terrified to leave their homes and are in dire need of food and rental assistance.  Jobs have been lost due to businesses closing and families are struggling economically and emotionally as they live in constant fear.  Please give generously so that we can stand with them and support their ongoing outreach to those in need.
