  your eyes for a moment and picture the last supper.\n What do you see?\n
  Most people picture Leonardo Da Vinci's famous painting of the last supp
 er with Jesus standing  at the center of a fully set table with the apost
 les on either side of him looking confused.\n Or you may have pictured Je
 sus holding up the bread or chalice and passing it to the disciples.\n Or
  maybe you pictured Jesus and the apostles eating their supper.\n Did you
  ever stop to think about all of the people behind the scene who made the 
 most important meal in the history of mankind happen?\n The people who sh
 opped\, payed for and prepared the meal?\n The people who arranged for an
 d set up the room?\n The people who washed and ironed the linens?\n Did 
 you ever wonder Who set the table? and Who did the dishes when they were d
 one?\n Without all those people that meal would not have happened.\n Now
  look around here at our table where the most important meal of our week t
 akes place and think about all the people that make that happen.\n The al
 ter guild who set and clear our table\, wash the communion cups\, wash and
  iron the linens\, and change the paraments to correspond with the church 
 season.\n The communion assistants and lecturers who assist with the serv
 ice.\n The choir and musicians who provide beautiful music to enhance our
  worship experience.\n The ushers who arrive early to greet people\, guid
 e them to their seat and ensure the flow for communion goes smoothly.\n T
 he property committee who ensure the church and property are maintained an
 d ready for worship.\n The finance committee who manages our financial re
 sources\, pays our bills and count the offering.\n The evangelism committ
 ee who reach out into the community to bring people to church and welcomes
  new members.\n The Sunday school teachers and members of Youth and Famil
 y ministry who help our children grow in their faith to become the future 
 leaders of the church.\n The Justice and Peace committee who advocate for
  marginalize people in our community and other parts of the world.\n Soci
 al Ministry who put their faith into action by serving the needs of the co
 mmunity\, especially the poor and vulnerable.\n And\, of course\, Pastor 
 Mary who leads us in worship.\n There are so many people who make things 
 happen here at Holy Trinity and out in the community.\nEach of you should 
 use whatever gift you have received to serve others\, as faithful stewards
  of God's grace....  1 Peter 4:10
